What do I need to run Obelisk?
An iPhone or iPad, and a way to feed it live cockpit audio. The recommended Flight Kit (our custom-coded Stratux) also adds ADS-B traffic and GPS; at minimum, an audio cable into your panel or headset jack works. At home you can follow public LiveATC streams with just the app. Everything runs on-device.
Is the hardware included in the subscription?
No — the hardware is a one-time purchase, separate from the app subscription. Reserve a kit on the home page (no charge today); we'll confirm and arrange shipping when kits are ready.
When am I charged?
Not during your 30-day free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, your card is charged $20/ month and then monthly after that.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel from your account at any time — you keep access through the end of the current period, and you're never charged again after cancelling.
Is my audio private?
Completely. Capture, transcription and correction all happen on your device. Your audio and transcripts never touch our servers, because there is no transcription backend.
Is it on the App Store yet?
Obelisk is currently in public beta on TestFlight. A public App Store release is coming soon — your subscription carries over.
