What do I need to run Obelisk?
Just an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later — Obelisk is software-only. Charts, procedures, plates and planning all run on-device and work with no signal; live ADS-B traffic and online weather use a connection when you have one.
Do I need any hardware?
No. Obelisk is a software-only app and uses your device's built-in GPS. Live ADS-B traffic comes from a public internet feed when you're connected; everything else works fully offline.
When am I charged?
Obelisk is free during the public TestFlight beta — no card required. When paid plans begin at the App Store launch, you'll start with a 30-day free trial and won't be charged $20/ month until it ends.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel from your account at any time — you keep access through the end of the current period, and you're never charged again after cancelling.
Does my data stay private?
Yes. Charts, procedures and planning run entirely on your device — no account is required to fly, and there's no backend for your flights to touch. Live traffic and weather are the only network features, and both are explicit opt-ins.
Is it on the App Store yet?
Obelisk is currently in public beta on TestFlight. A public App Store release is coming soon — your subscription carries over.
