The hardware
Audio in. Recommended: the Flight Kit — our custom-coded Stratux — streams live cockpit audio, ADS-B traffic and GPS to your iPad over Wi-Fi. Minimum: the audio cable into your panel or headset jack.
Obelisk is a complete cockpit package — our custom-coded Stratux, the iPad app, and a subscription — that turns live ATC radio into a real-time picture of your clearances, traffic and route. All it takes to start is a cable into your audio panel.
From GA singles to rotor-wing, Obelisk is made to ride along in real aircraft — listening to the same radio you are, on the same panel you fly.

Obelisk lives in the cockpit, so it has to hear the radio. Three parts get you there: the hardware that feeds it audio, the app that makes sense of it, and a subscription that unlocks the full stack.

Obelisk for iPhone & iPad — on-device transcription, correction, callsign linking, live charts and the Electronic Flight Bag. Nothing leaves the aircraft.
Obelisk Pro — $20/ month, 30-day free trial. Unlocks live correction, traffic, the Flight Bag, offline charts and every model.
The Flight Kit does it all— live audio, traffic within 30 NM and WAAS GPS, with nothing to plug in mid-flight. The audio cable is the minimum to get started; add a Stratux later.
The radio is the one channel you can't pause, replay or glance at twice. Obelisk closes the loop from what you hear to what you fly — and it knows which calls are yours. Your filed plan stays on the chart the whole time; other traffic just lights up on your ADS-B; and when ATC amends your clearance, Obelisk proposes it for you to accept — it never rewrites your route on its own.
A preview of where Obeliskis heading. The live transcript ships today; the chart & map links roll out to Pro as they land.
Obelisk isn't only a listener — it's a flight bag. Paste a ForeFlight-style route and it parses into a colour-coded plan on real VFR and IFR charts, then packs your callsign, airports and waypoints into the on-device corrector — so the calls meant for you stand out on frequency.
Built for pilots and controllers who need to trust what they just heard — and stay ahead of what's coming.
Every transmission is captured, timestamped and kept — so a stepped-on, rapid-fire or heavily-accented clearance doesn't slip past. Glance down or scroll back the moment you're unsure what you heard.
The vision: tap an arrival to open the STAR, hear “direct BOISE” and watch it drop on the map, get cleared an approach and the plate is right there. Your radio becomes a live index into your EFB.
Live ADS-B traffic within 30 NM, plus callsign linking — tap a callsign to filter the transcript to that aircraft's conversation, and see a green ✈ the moment they're in range.
File a ForeFlight-style route and Obelisk recognises your own callsign, airports and waypoints in the stream — so the calls that are meant for you stand out.
A two-tier on-device corrector cleans up misheard callsigns, runways and phraseology, grounded in real ATC knowledge and live traffic. Every edit is shown; the raw is always kept.
Capture, transcription and correction all run locally on the Apple Neural Engine. Your audio never leaves the aircraft — awareness you can depend on, with nothing to phone home to.
Capture, the fine-tuned Whisper model, diarization and correction all run locally — on the Apple Neural Engine and CPU. No backend to reach, nothing to phone home to, and no “no signal” page in the middle of a busy approach.
“november three four five alpha bravo, cleared the GOPHER ONE arrival, descend and maintain one one thousand”
Logged the instant it's spoken — and soon, one tap from the plate.
Real screens from Obelisk on iPad — the live chart, the transcript and the flight bag, all running on-device. No mockups.
Your filed route, the LENDY SIX arrival and live ADS-B traffic on real FAA sectionals — the chart engine, live, with the transcript running right on the map.

Every transmission is captured, timestamped and callsign-tagged the instant it's spoken — so a stepped-on, rapid-fire or accented clearance never slips past. Scroll back the moment you're unsure what you heard.

Tap a callsign to isolate that aircraft's entire conversation, and watch live ADS-B traffic light up the moment it's within range. Your own callsign, airports and waypoints are recognized in the stream.

Paste a ForeFlight-style route and Obelisk parses it into a color-coded plan on real charts, then packs your callsign, airports and waypoints into the on-device corrector so the phraseology comes out right.
